Dr. Staci Bain is a national literacy leader, co-founder of Educate America LLC® (Good Humans Educate.com®), and the author of an upcoming book on K–5 Tier 1 literacy instruction and leadership slated for release in 2025. She earned her doctorate from the University of Washington and holds a superintendent’s credential, grounding her work in both scholarship and system-level leadership.

With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Bain has served as a public school teacher, principal, director, and elementary executive. Her expertise extends beyond schools: she worked corporately in the research division at Lexia Learning®, where she advanced the user experience and implementation of the RAPID Assessment™ (Reading Assessment for Prescriptive Instructional Data). At Lexia, she authored onsite and online (asynchronous) national professional development content.

As the architect of Educate’s Tier 1 K–12 system, she equips educators with research-aligned structures that simplify instruction while amplifying student results. Her work has fueled historic gains in districts from Mississippi to Washington, Minnesota to Texas—empowering leaders and teachers to move the needle on literacy proficiency at scale.

Dr. Bain is a Statewide LETRS® Facilitator (2005-2015) and former National LETRS® Facilitator (2013–2015, 2021–2022). She is also the Founding President of The Reading League Washington and has served as a Board Member for The International Dyslexia Association (WA, ID, MT).

Her mission is to seek out the Goers in this world—educators and leaders willing to move forward—to collectively build literate and liberated communities. Through her live and asynchronous Tier 1 courses, weekly teaching and leadership guidance in Educate's Hot Take Hub, national seminars, extensive Train-the-Trainer experience, and private 1:1 Tier 1 leadership collaborations, she continues to support educators and leaders across the world.
